unified PoS related drivers
Unified PoS combines two existing device interface standards under one specification of Point of Service Devices: OPoS and JavaPoS™. Epson is a key player of these (Unified PoS, OPoS and JavaP0S™), and promotes the standardisation of peripheral device control drivers for the retail market. At the same time, we also provide a wide range of customers with drivers to support PoS applications development. Working from customer feedback, we aim in the future to offer still better functions.
Epson OPoS ADK
Epson OPoS ADK provides the versatility and convenience of applications development in Windows 95,Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP environments. Besides dramatically reducing the number of application steps, Epson OPoS ADK makes system upgrades easy.
Epson JavaPoS™ ADK
Java™ is a platform-independent language widely used for PoS and other applications. JavaPoS™ standard API makes peripheral devices easy to operate and supports quick system startup. Epson JavaPoS™ ADK provides support in Linux environments.
